10. Jet Airways – India

The Indian 2nd largest airline, Jet Airways, is at number 10 in our list of top 10 worst airlines in 2018. Based in Mumbai, Jet Airways launched its services in 1992 as an LLC ( Limited liability company). In the bigging, the airline started its service as an air taxi operator. In 1995, Jet Airways started its services with international flights but only for private customers. This airline was publicized in 2005.  In 2007, Jet airways acquire Air Sahara and expand its service to 67 destinations around the world.

There is no doubt that the biggest Indian airline has become a waste of corruption, but the main reason for which this airline went into the worst airlines list is the Gupta family’s controversy in South Africa. In 2016, A South African politician Vytjie Mentor’s statement published in media that the Gupta family offered her the chair of Minister of Public Enterprises if she arranged some steps to drop the Indians rout for the South African airline so that the Jet Airways take over this profitable route.
